Book three is from the point of view of Gabry's twin sister Annah, who ran away with Elias when they were children and grew up in The Dark City (post Return New York). She's had a tough life and has skin scarred by barbed-wire and huge abandonment issues. Then she meets Catcher and starts to realize that you are only as broken as you allow yourself to be. I enjoyed The Dark and Hollow Places more than the two preceding novels put together! A must read for all of my fellow Apocalyptic fiction fan ...more
