I am still really unsure how I feel about this book, but a 3-star rating seems fair.Cool idea to add zombies to a classic, although I completely disagree with the intention of "transform[ing] a masterpiece of world literature into something you'd actually want to read." I was able to read this book, but it was not my favorite. It has so many plot holes, unrealistic reactions, and doesn't flow as well as the original Pride and Prejudice, that as much as I wanted to love it, I just couldn't. I mean, in a world where zombies are popping up from the ground and killing people, you would think there would be more respect for life and your reaction wouldn't be to kill someone because they insulted your honor, wouldn't it? I thought I would like this book a lot more than I did. Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book, I love zombies, it seems like a natural fit. It wasn't natural. It felt forced. There was too many contradictions that didn't make any sense. You're a warrior for the king, but you can't carry a sword in public? No. It probably would've been better as a period piece without taking over one of the classic pieces of English Literature.
