Yup, I like this one. Definitely enjoyed reading Vonnegut, Cat Cradle. I think I may check out the rest of his other books. This is the first book I have read by Vonnegut. The second will be. Slaughterhouse Five. I have to say that Cat's Cradle really impressed me. I liked the story. It kept up a nice pace and was easy to follow. Did I say I really liked this book? If I did oh well, the book itself is undeniably funny, but frightening, sad, & weird, as well. Definitely worth the read.

NO SPOILERS!! I loved the mini-chapters - 127 in all. This was an interesting read - tons and tons of interaction/dailogue between the characters...of which was extremely engaging. The characters themselves were well written and you were able to get a sense of them from their very first introduction. The story itself is very, very unique and compelling and is based on an intriguing concept - all of the liquid in the world freezing at the same time - all caused by a chemical invented by the co-in

One of Vonnegut's best. Fascinating story that puts forth some very interesting ideas on the purpose of religious belief. A wake-up call for those who think technology will solve the world's problems.
