A very very slow read (listen). Set in 1961 I think and its amazing to think people were thinking about nuclear destruction back then when almost 60 years later its the same. The creeping death was just that - only gets three from me
The setting: Southern Australia after an unfortunate accidental nuclear war of Northern Hemisphere countries leaves people in the Southern Hemisphere waiting for the inevitable.
As weather patterns inch airborne nuclear material closer and closer people try to live their lives knowing the end of human existence is approaching.
Eerie and well told this was hard to put down.
