Love love love this whole series. I'm putting the same review on all of them because I listened to the audio versions back to back so the books are all one long story to me and each one is better than the last. These books are very well written, great attention to detail, heavy on the military/survivalist run and rebuild side, lots of characters you really grow to care about, and wonderful character growth. Not traditional zombies, more the "infected" type, but I like both so fine by me. No mush

I love this series...and I'm not big on them. It is hard to keep my attention past one book, let alone several. But this series has had enough momentum to hold my attention & I am anxiously waiting for the next book due out this month. It has quickly become my second favorite series next to Zombie Fallout.

I love this series! It is very well written, the characters well delineated. It is definitely a military zombie apocalypse story so the language is rough, like military men use. If you don't like rough language, take a pass. If you like a realistic story of a young man in the military who has a definite a mission to reorganize and save people this is your book.
