What Members Thought
This wasn't my favourite Ann Patchett, but nevertheless I was drawn in by the idea of who "owns" a family's story -- the children themselves, the parents, a third-party bystander who is also a writer? (the child vs. parent question is one that gets acted out every day on Facebook). I also enjoyed following the commonwealth formed by the children in the two blended families.
