I honestly don't know how to rate this book, because how can a stranger put a rating on someone's innermost outpouring of deepest, agonizing grief? How can I put a number on how honest, true, enjoyable or appealing the reading of the tale is? This is not the story of what happened when a woman lost her entire family in one fell swoop. Heartbreaking account of a woman who lost her husband, 2 sons, and her parents in the 2004 tsunami diaster. The writing is poignant and the heartbreak is real. This isn't a glossed over hollywood version of someone coming through an unthinkable disaster and finding peace at the end of the tragedy. For Sonali there probably will never be any peace.
