Great feel good story! Wonderful summer read for my in person book club. Every member loved it!
Really enjoyed this book. Reminded me a bit of “ The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry”. Really liked the concept of finding the charm bracelet & the journey for answers
I enjoyed this read (audiobook). I liked how Arthur grew as a person and developed his relationships. It was a cute and a warm story (even with a sad premise of him losing his wife).
This was an easy read and I finished it fast but I didn't love the story. On the one year anniversary of his wife's death 69 year old Arthur Pepper finds a charm bracelet while going through her things. He has no memory of this bracelet and starts to track down each charm that his wife received before they were married. He goes to new places and meets different people which is not a regular thing to do for this very nice, bland, regimented man.
