I really liked this book quite a lot. I appreciate how it looked at the creation and publication of the Oxford English Dictionary in its historical and social context, pointing directly to how the biases of the people who were largely responsible for creating it, academic, white Englishmen, directly influenced what was included and what was left out. Okay, a bit to preachy on the subject of feminism, which is really a shame as the story is set during the suffragette movement in England. It couldn't have been handled better.
