This one was spooky at its best! A good read for October. I do have a different wish for the ending, but that would make it too Hollywood. I was definitely drawn in and had several guesses for the bad guy.

I would give this a typical solid 3 stars of 5, but with goodreads, 3 stars is "I liked it" and 2 is "it was okay".
This book was okay.
The story itself was fine, if somewhat predictable, but the biggest problem I had was with the characters, particularly Nora. I've rarely wanted to roll my eyes so frequently at a protagonist.

This book is about a Hen party, with Nora telling the story. Nora is invited to this party for a childhood friend. Nora and Claire no longer kept in touch, so it was awkward for Nora. I found the beginning and middle of the book to be interesting and page turning. The ending was not as satisfing for me.
