**Slight Spoilers**

I really wanted to enjoy this one, but it just didn’t hit all the points, and in fact, missed quite a few of them. I’m all about authors taking some liberties, and I believe, as a reader, you have to suspend belief to some extent, as it is fiction. This story makes the reader suspend way too much belief, to the point you are totally setting aside reality.

I didn’t realize this book was part of a series. It was a page turner and a bit graphic at times and certainly far-fetched, but it kept my interest. I think I’ll read more in the series because I really enjoyed the characters & I really want to know the back stories.

This thriller is book three in the Eddie Flynn series, a series I was unaware of. After reading this exciting drama of a serial killer with a inability to feel pain and a plan to make somebody else go to jail for his crimes by getting on the jury in the murder trial is a little far fetched. However, it works here because of well developed characters and unimaginable twists.

I will run to find books one and two immediately!

I put this book on the back burner for way too long. It is book 3 of a series and I haven't read the others. I thought that might be a problem, but it really wasn't. you can enjoy the story fully without having started at the beginning.
