This novel has a little bit of everything (view spoiler) There were aspects that were predictable but an equal number of surprises and few things that were far-fetched. But Owens tells a page-turning story that kept me engaged until the final page.

I absolutely loved this novel.
What a lovely story.
Right from the beginning, Kya captives you. Her story told over a period of time takes you through all emotions. I loved where the crawdad's sing. A truly strong underdog story. ...more

Amazing. This read draws you into the story in a deep meshing way. I definitely hope to read it again sometime. Wow.
