For some reason I keep adding Lisa Jewell books to my shelves, but haven't read any of them... until now!
I devoured this one (well as much as you can on audio!). Alice finds a man sitting on the beach watching the water, in the rain. Hours later, he's still sitting there staring ahead. She finally brings a jacket out to him and realizes that he cannot remember who he is or anything about his life. Across the country another storyline starts with Lily and she realizes her husband hasn't come home ...more

I really enjoyed this book.It started out slow but got better as it went on. This is the first book I've read by Lisa Jewel and I plan to check out her other books.

Maybe because I have a cold, but I just couldn't get completely into this book. I really enjoyed Jewell's "The Girls in the Garden" so I picked this one up with high hopes. There were some good twists and turns, but just a 3 star read for me. I did like the quirky character of Alice.
