This has been on my TBR list for a very long time and it's one of those books I'm sorry I didn't read sooner. Plath writes some beautiful metaphors and creates wonderful imagery in her prose. The elements of poetry in her style are extremely engaging, drawing the reader's interest fully into the book.

Wow, I thought this book was great. Once I got started it was hard to put down.I thought this book was beautifully written. I thought Esther was a great main character. She was very haunting. Plus the supporting characters were just as great as Esther. It is like even though Ester was the one telling the story, but it was written so well that each character brought its own and helped the story along.
Sorry Kathy, I really liked this book! Guess I am a sucker for a book about depression and suicide-or more so of what goes on in the minds of victims of mental illness...
