Loved it! Such a feel good story. I even chuckled out loud several times. Here are some passages:

This book reminds me in the beginning of A Man Called Ove as Ove and AJ are both widowed and want their lives to end. That is where the similarities end. AJ’s life changes when a 25 month year old girl is left in his bookstore with a note that leaves him to believe that he is meant to raise this child. AJ’s life changes for the better along with other things in his life. There is a couple of mysteries along with realizing how much an individual and a bookstore can mean to people.
This was the perfect little novel to read while coming down from the Thanksgiving high. There's nothing super original, but if you're looking for a sweet story that you can almost certainly predict the ending to, then you will not be disappointed. In fact, I would have rated this an entire star higher, if not for the dialogue, which tried way too hard to be witty, and the ending, which made me roll my eyes.

Okay story line, but poorly executed. Shallow characters. Wish this story had more depth.
4.5 Stars. A wonderful story full of literary references and tidbits. The characters were varied and interesting and I found myself loving certain characters and hating others for obvious and valid reasons. I will definitely recommend this and I'm so glad I read it!
