This is another one about the weird world of helicopter parents, a term I had never heard until Kim moved to Baltimore, and she explained it to me. Great fun book to read. Having lived in Australia and put a child trough "prep" over there, I found some of the references quite hilarious. A murder is committed but the reader doesn't know who did it or who actually got killed. About 75% into the book though, the story changes and what seemed mostly odd/light/funny events and situations, becomes something much more deeper and darker.

I absolutely LOVED this book! I was completely captivated. The story kept me guessing all the way up until the very end. It's a quick read and incredibly hard to put down. This is the first book I have ever read of this author, can't wait to get my hands on more of her stuff!!

This novel has been getting lots of attention so I thought I'd give it a go. It did take me quite a while to get through the first 150 pages or so, but the story gained steam after that. At times it was a little difficult keeping track of who the characters were and which husband and which child(ren) went with whom. Each of the women portrayed had their issues, but they weren't as cliched as I thought they would be. There were definitely some deeper issues that would make this book a good jumpin
