I don't know, guys. I really really don't know. So many people loves this book and told me to read it but for me ... it just didn't work.
It's not bad it just didn't grip me at all. I liked the writing style and the setting of a russia inspired fantasy world was interesting as well but the rest ... it just felt very predictable to me. I could be wrong and the next two books surprise me with an amazing twist, but I really don't think so.

I thought this book was as good as people said it was and I started to read it last night and finished it on the same night
This book was not bad. I just continued to find a book I would rather be reading. I couldn't connect with any of the characters. I am going to try Siege and Storm before I give up though. Wish me luck!
