What a cute.... extra creepy series! My only complaint was the ending. It felt very rushed and abrupt. I think another 100 pages would have fit in nicely! Oh and..... I recommend reading these books at night time before bed, to get those extra creepy brownie points:D
This was an okay duology. I love Kendare Blake’s writing and stories so I am glad I finally got around to reading this duology. I have wanted to read it for a while but always ended up putting other books in front of it. The ending was a good wrap up to the story. I believe the characters were as good as the plot in this series because of their roles in the two books. I think I went in with high expectations because I loved the Goddess War & Three Dead Crowns series so much.
