This book is soooooooo dern cute!!!! I really enjoyed all the quirky little tid bits. Like, "Oh my Grimm", and " No pixing way"!

This book was not what I expected. I was quite intrigued at first but soon I realize that the book wasn't for me.
It's not a bad book, far from it. It just didn't win over me. So even if I didn't really like it, if you love fairy-tales, The Wizard of Oz, go for it.
The first thing that helped me finishing Spelled was the humour. There are many funny moments and comments. The main character made me laugh a lot (even if I wanted to punch her sometimes !).

This book is so captivating, it's a wonderful amalgamation of several different stories while at the same time being unique, fun, and funny to read. This book brings a fresh voice to fairytale retellings. the main character, Dot goes through a well written and meaningful character arc and the rest of the cast of characters are very strong and feel like real people.
