This book broke me, in the best possible way.
I was instantly swept up in the fractured fever dream of puzzles and stories within stories, the lush prose, the gorgeous imagery. There are some books that take you to the world your heart longs for. This - for me - was one of them. A dramaturgical wunderkammer of references, conjurations, heroe's quests, and more. The book, like the world described in it is a wondrous, deep thing to be plumbed and explored.
