Confession: I really disliked The Princess Bride the first time I watched it. The second time I fell asleep. The third time I fell in love. I've only seen the movie a handful of times and am only about halfway through the book, but this movie is truly a classic. Elwes book I would consider a classic as well. It's an easy read and I loved the insight he gave about the filming of the movie. Like the movie he makes you laugh and cry. Peppered throughout you also get tidbits from the other actors in ...more
