This is a fairytale, complete with wizards, witches, a prince, and an evil forest.
I found the main story really interesting. The main character learns that she is a witch and uses magic to help fight the evil woods. Without giving away the end of the book, I will say that the power behind the wood and its reasons for malice were not what I expected. There is a lot of confusion related to her struggle to learn magic. For some reason, that is never stated, the wizard never tells her that she has
