This review makes me a little sad, because this is my buddy's absolute favourite novel in the whole universe, and it kinda kills me a little that it just doesn't click for me in the same way that it clicks for him. For me, the jokes were juuuust funny enough at times to nudge it into three star territory, but a bunch of them felt dated.
