I've been very careful not to read reviews on any of the books in this series so I could avoid spoilers, and now I wonder if I should have. Would the roller coaster ride have been better if I'd been warned?
It's hard to write this spoiler free so if I slip, I'm apologizing ahead of time.
The action and adventure continues right where it left off in City of Glass. There are a ton of curve balls hanging in the plot that I didn't see coming, although I think I should have.

I am way behind on reading this series, I know, I know.
I had read the first when the movie had first come out, but then never got around to getting to the rest of it. Now I am wondering what had taken me so long.
I had been awfully careful to avoid reading other reviews so that I didn't get throttled with spoilers, and now I almost wonder if some of the emotional blows would have come as less of a shock if I had been warned. Such a fine line to walk, indeed.
