Besides the great writing, I'm not really sure what is great about this book. It currently has a 4.5 rating on here and I'm just not really sure why. The author failed to let the reader know one crucial bit of information in the first third of the book; why am I reading this? Why do I care? Fantasy is about adventure, among other things, and I want to know early on why are the characters going on an adventure? But yeah idk what else to say really. Not much happens in the first third of the book. ...more
