An important treatise at a time of male writing domination. Wollstonecraft put together advocacy for women’s rights that was brave, clear headed and ultimately right. Highly recommended.

Whilst stating that women are physically inferior to men, she felt that they were their intellectual equal. But how to prove this or to be any sort of help meet without education? The point I liked the most was her emphasise on education for females.

To understand a thing, one must look at its history. I did not realize the depths from which feminism was raised. I did not know the subhuman existence of eighteenth century women. I do now.
I have gained a newfound hatred for Rousseau.
Also, I feel like "reason" was a bit of a hot word at the time, and overused in this work.
