This was a quick read and I really enjoyed it....the characters were easy to like. Although it was about the German occupation...it was a good story and not a "heavy" book at all. It is written as a series of letters so it's a different style....if you are looking for a good "story"....give this a try!

Such a wonderful, heart-warming, hopeful book even with the backdrop of the aftermath of WWII and the tragedies that came from said war!
