Not gonna lie, I had very low expectations going into this one. Once you get past all the world-building, which seems a wee bit dull at times, the story really takes off and the reader is swept up in the many adventures of Drizzt the Dark Elf.

4.5 re-read - just as good the second time around
Much to my surprise I actually quite enjoyed this. It really picks up after the first few chapters.
