Oh my goodness! Can someone become a total fangirl after 60 pages? Because I’m pretty sure I became a Robin Hobb fangirl after reading just 60 pages of Assassin’s Apprentice.

I don't know what it was that made this book so boring for me. I found it extremely boring even after finishing 43% of the book (so it was not the world building) and I tried to skim through the rest of the pages but couldn't do even that. I literally hated reading even a single page. Marking it abandoned. I don't think Robin Hobb's writing works for me.
The possible reasons for not liking it -
1. First person narration from a person whose life isn't interesting
2. Writing style
3. Too much of telli

A great read but I feel the final chapters and murder plot are a little bit rushed; out of the left field and solved quite hastily
