This is my first introduction to Saint Francis de Sales. The plethora of Saints in Holy Church often sets my heart in awe. How many souls these Saints have assisted in conversion and salvation no one will know I suppose until we are with them in Heaven. This book is simple enough for the novice and deep enough for the advanced in Catholic Devotions. Saint Francis gives advice to a new convert on living the devout life and this advice is for all time.

Excellent book for spiritual growth. St. Francis de Sales gives us the means by which to increase our relationship with Christ. He exhorts us to develop a prayer life, partake of the Sacraments and produce good spiritual fruit along with good works.
