I thought that this book was exceptional! It was extremely well written and the cliffhangers were so immensely satisfying, it made me not only want to read on but to search it up on the internet several times, looking for hours at fan arts and reviews (some of which I got angry with because they rated it badly). I can see clearly why a lot of people don't enjoy the series.
The book is a bit slow, and the main character, Eragon is sometimes a little irritating. reckless, even. But, I think he is very realistic. Eragon got frustrated at learning magic in the beginning, and sometimes didn't think before his actions. But as we go through the whole book, we can see how he learns, bit by bit, how to control his self actions. It is also really interesting, Eragon and Saphira's bond, a wise dragon and a young ...more
