What Members Thought
I hesitate to review this book since so many of my friends loved it. Sometimes you fail to respond as strongly to a book because of something you've read just before. I found the characters almost too nice. Dawsey, I had no idea he was so personally appealing to Juliet until over halfway through the book. I did find the history of the island of Guernsey during WWII to be fascinating. I had no idea of what had gone on there. I'll keep the book and read it again.

I was laughing out loud when the book started and crying when it ended. The movie was easier to get through.
