This one took a lot out of me.

So dark and bleak, yet beautiful at the same time. The minimalistic writing reminds me of Hemingway's Farewell to Arms, but consistently dark throughout where the latter had fluctuation both in setting and mood. Both have the type of sentence structure where they use the word "and" about five times in one sentence.

The father and son relationship will stick with me. There are multiple scenes where a few simple words of dialogue hit you like a brick. The setting never
