What Members Thought
Pros: This book was cold, dark, and my heart was racing as I read the entire book. The idea of living in a postapolyptic world that is vast and desolate, a world where you no longer can identify humans as friends or foes, where animals and fish are extinct, is a terrifying thought.
Cons: The ending paragraph was cryptic. Wherever dialogue is written in the book, there are no quotation marks. It's annoying. Also, her writing was kind of off sometimes--it seemed like there were sloppy grammatical ...more

I listened to the audio version -- it was GREAT!!!!!!!!!! I never want to turn if off.
Stark, bleak, and beautiful. I will have to take a look at the paper version as I would like to see the effect of the layout and punctuation (or lack thereof), but the audio was superb. At first I wasn't sure about the narrator, but he voiced the man and the boy perfectly and really brought out the beauty in their relationship.
