What Members Thought
The thing I loved about this book growing up was Leslie. She acted like a boy, and the kids in her class resented her for all kinds of dumb reasons, but she never betrayed herself.
And I have to say, I totally resent the idea that this book isn't appropriate for children. What makes it good is that it doesn't treat children like they're too stupid to understand things.
