Translated from Japanese. The rules of time travel are oppressively restrictive in this novel, but that’s the point. When the path is so narrow only the truly desperate will walk it. So the reasons for returning to a past moment in the cafe to meet a person you spent time with there were so moving and heartbreaking that, beautifully written as they were, hurt to read about, and stayed in my mind long after I finished the book..
There are other books in the series but I need some time before I ret ...more
