Love, science, and a bit with a dog named Six-thirty. This is a charming, inspirational, and moving story with well-developed, authentic characters. I was able to anticipate some of the major plot points, but it didn't matter at all- it was more like I knew (or thought I knew) things before the characters did, so I wasn't at all bothered. A truly wonderful read. I look forward to Garmus' next work!

Elizabeth Zott is my hero. What an empowering and fascinating story about a woman determined to be herself and make her way. I highly recommend this one. Beautifully written.
