What Members Thought

This one was a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, it was the last book I read with my local book club before I moved away so I have a soft spot for it. One the other hand, the content of the book is really inconsistent with what you'd expect based on the cover, but on the other other hand, that's not the book's fault.

Read this from a recommendation & also for book club. I absolutely loved Mad & Six-Thirty… and I enjoyed the POVs of each of them the most. Elizabeth Zott’s no nonsense attitude about everything was comical, even when she wasn’t trying to be. And she was such a strong, inspirational character, determined to break out of (and/or not be boxed into) the given societal roles of her era. Simply put, it is just a great book that every woman should read.
