After completing this book, I felt, why these two people had/having such a complicated relationship?. I feel reason for that is not justified or not revealed clearly.

i know if i read this in university, this would've probably been a 5 star book.
i didn't realise how much i cared about connell and marianne until i cried when i read the last page. there's really not much to say. sally rooney's writing is just addictive to read. the way writes human interaction is so good.
i also really liked how sally rooney played out the shifting power dynamics between marianne and connell. i think it's a really interesting take on relationships and what it means to really lo ...more

Ancora una volta Sally Rooney mi ha colpito per come riesca bene a raccontare gli amori moderni. A primo impulso può sembrare un semplice libro adolescenziale e invece i personaggi principali sono molto complessi, nascondono ferite casi incolmabili e insieme cercano di superarle, anche senza accorgersene, vagano lontani ma poi si ritrovano sempre.
