I did something while reading this book that I literally never have while reading a book. I came to a line that so astounded me ( for those who have read the book it was when the main character questions "like I always do?") that I read it out loud to myself. I don't mean I went back and read it out loud. I read it out loud as I was reading along. I was that immersed in the book and shocked by the statement.

The writing is really good, but it was a three-star book for me for most of it (just not necessarily my favorite kind of story I guess). Then I read the last couple of chapters, and the writing was just amazing and made me want more of this story. I initially gave this an extra star for that, but the more I've thought about it... It's more like 3.5 stars for me. Really good writing--just not the story for me.

This was fantastic! I honestly didn't want it to end. There was a HEA, but I wanted more. I would seriously love to see this go into a trilogy.
