DID NOT FINISH. Stopped at page 56. Not into it and getting confused.

For the majority of the time I spent reading this book, I just sat in bed and bawled like a damn baby. I honestly can't remember the last time I got so emotionally invested in a book (and books DON'T typically make me cry). Maybe because I was going through a long-distance relationship at the time, but...damn.

Were it not that I was reading this book for my book club I do not think that I would have finished it. The book is not bad but does not have enough to merit its length. The earlier portions are stronger and I found this part of the book reasonably engaging. There were thought provoking issues on the nature of time and of free will. However, shortly after this theme is largely abandoned and a fairly commonplace romance novel takes over, following which I then found it hard to engage with the sto

What an awesome book! It just goes to show the value of pressing on when the twists and turns of a plot have given one vertigo! Can't wait for the book club meeting to discuss this one.
