The Song of Achilles is a retelling of Achilles’ life and the Trojan War. Told from the perspective of Patroclus, after being exiled by his father and coming to live and train with the heroic Achilles, the greatest of all Greek warriors.
Such a familiar story, as it has been retold countless times. Miller's writing is gorgeous, so reminiscent of Greek lyrics and poetry.

Fue un muy buen libro, me encanta la mitología y Madeline Miller tiene una forma increíble de contarla, tanto que aunque sepas que va a pasar, es increíble leerlo en sus palabras. Hace “humanos” a los dioses, tangibles, sensibles y fáciles de identificarse con ellos. En una nota personal, Patroclus me caía muy mal, se me hacia muy plano y sin chiste, pero poco a poco se fue ganando mi cariño. Una incrimina historia platicada de una manera muy fresca y actual.
