this book was… nerdy as hell. i think i would have breezed through this in a day had it not been for the science and technology density that my brain had difficulty processing, when all a girl was expecting was “hold on to ya butts!”

Personally I think the movie should be watched before reading the book. For someone that doesn't know dinosaurs they can easily get lost but if you seen the movie its easier to keep up with. But all and all its a really good book.
I liked the kids better in the movie, Lex wasn't such a whiny brat and Malcolm although I loved him in the movies he seems a little full of hot air in the book. ...more
