What Members Thought
90% of this book was amazing. But she shoots it down at the last chapters.
I cannot understand Monique's reaction to the Big Reveal. It doesn't make any sense. The alternative would have been so much worse, for everyone.
Frankly, her reaction, her actions, her words, her anger, was so absurd for me, that I almost threw this book out. It was almost GOT finale kind of reaction. :-D Almost.
I loved the last sentence, though. :-) That was very nice. :-)

Actually a lot better than I thought it'd be. Everything scar the last chapter was captivating and even emotional. Don't let the tone of narration in the first and last chapters steer you off track, once the story changes it's less clinical and detached and more immersive and emotional

This was not at all what I thought it would be about but I loved it all the same. A great book for a long airplane or train ride. I’m officially a Jenkins Reid fan.
