One and a half century later the story still resonates, and human psychology has not changed a bit. This is the definition of a true classic.

Dostoyevsky writes insanity from what must be first hand experience. Forget crazy colors and hallucinations, everything is just foggy, circumstances change unpredictably and things come out of nowhere. The character seems to have no ability to affect their surroundings while they ghost through their own existence. Great plot, truly psychological, stuffed full of rich characters and interesting environments. Awesome, though a long and challenging read.
Trisha
Absoltely brilliant! The plotline had so much more excitement, twists, and drama than I was expecting. A must-read!
