What Members Thought
This was a hard one for me to rate, and I couldn't decide between 4 and 5 stars, but ultimately I settled on 4 because I felt like it could have been better. The story was so magical and beautiful, and I loved how it was so focused on books and stories.

I was interested enough to finish it, which says something given that it is incredibly long. I am interested enough to look up the cosplay, tattoos, and tableaus that have inevitably been created from the world this book describes. I feel that the main purpose of this book was description more than anything else. Description of a bunch of stereotypes of book lovers and their supposed triangulated interests, mainly. This was a reasonably good book. I had a hard time reading it for more than a little bit at a time. Great imaginative worlds, but sometimes confusing and disjointed. I am still not sure how I feel about the ending and the entire book made me feel pretty melancholy.
