This book is an examination of all the specific types of racism: gender, class, space, etc. I enjoyed that his viewpoint is very broad and acknowledges racism within one’s own group towards each other. However, I don’t think he presented enough solutions to justify the book’s title. He says being antiracist means acknowledging racism and acknowledging racist policies, as well as showing public support for anti-racist policies and other platitudes like “we need to be the chemotherapy for the can ...more

Returning to the library before I could finish... But I completely disagree with the rhetoric in this book. I would instead recommend Biased, The Color of Law, or Caste. ...more
