I'm itching to recommend this book to my students who read "Maybe You Should Talk To Someone" (MYSTTS) with me. This book reflected some of the psychotherapy lessons from MYSTTS. The start of the book even had me questioning if the author was a practicing psychotherapist himself. It turns out Alex Michaelides has a sister who is a psychiatrist. Reading this book was unsettling, but I suppose a suspense thriller is supposed to elicit this sort of feeling. ...more
