Incredible book! As a therapist myself, I was amazed at the insight he had for those in the profession. I had to keep rereading pages as I got so immersed and amazed at what the therapist was thinking, I started missing key pieces of the story! Overall, it was an incredible book and I couldn't put it down once I really got into it until it was done at 1:30 am!

A five star for me. A tense and well written thriller. The dual narrative (using the diaries of the suspected murderer) were very effective as the story unfolded.
3.5 stars. Maybe it's because I hear so much about the shocking twist of the story. I am in the minority in saying I was not shocked. Somehow the stories told by Alice and Theo had a great start. I was pulled in but then as their individual stories unravelled and ultimately intertwined, I was disappointed.
