What an amazing story. Cancer, racism, ethics, and science all rolled into one fascinating account of a person's life and unknowing contribution.

The book reads kind of like this:
She had cervical cancer and they took her cells, without permission.
As for her cells, they were taken without consent, which was pretty normal at the time.
Her cells, which were removed without consent, really bothered Zakkariya.
"They took my mama's cells and no one asked if it was ok." said Deborah, during our search for information.
